The Indo-American Community Services (IACS) is organizing a job fair in the Chicago-land area to create a forum for job seekers, prospective employers, recruiters and other organizations involved in Human Resources (HR).
The Job Fair will be held on October 27, 2011 at Navy Pier, Lakeview Terrace, Chicago. This Job Fair is broadly organized into three (3) areas:
- Employer Trade Show and Exhibit
- Conferences and Job Opportunity Discussions, and
- Interview and Resources.
The Employer Trade Show and Exhibit Area is expected to showcase employers from Federal and State Government, Healthcare, Information Technology (IT), Communications, Industrial, Automotive, Financial and all other major sectors. Positions being recruited may range from Internships and entry-level assignments to strategic, senior executive positions with base salary as well as incentive compensation.
The Conference and Job Opportunity Discussions will host parallel sessions that will explore areas of employment growth, HR strategies, resume preparation, career counseling, benefits management, select areas of subject matter expertise, among others.
The Interview and Resources section will offer specific areas of help to candidates; we also offer facilities for prospective employers and employees to engage in private discussion.
Last year varies companies, universities and governmental agencies have participated. Including corporations like IBM, Alcatel-Lucent, Illinois Tool Works, Goodman Networks, EPIR Technologies, IIT, Roosevelt University and many others Health Care and financial companies. All of these companies have already committed to participate again in this year’s job Fair.
